I bought a couch from Aarons and waited three days to have them deliever it and I had to call them and they told me it was infested with bed bugs, so I was stuck because I had gotten rid of my living room furniture, and had to rent one to own, which I thought was 124 a month, they tack on a bunch of fee which brought it to 150 bucks.

I had a credit of 190 dollars from buying the couch and should of had a credit for the next month of 45 dollars, and they said it was only 9 dollars, so I said I wasnt gonna pay that and they took my extra money I paid, so the manager got heated when I started arguing and asked him why so I said come get *** thing, and he screamed at the top of his lungs get out of my store, and came over and started pushing my sister, still screaming and she asked him not to touch her, and I also told him thats illegal, you cant put your hands on someone like that, and he threaten to call the cops on us, he started comming for me and I said dont touch me either, he rushed out so fast I didnt even get my receipts for the payments I had. I called when I got home and asked them to bring them when they picked up the furniture and they were never brought.

I called Aarons customers service to complain and I said on hold for 30 min, and no rep even help me. So I will keep calling till someone listens to what I have to say.

No one deserves to be ripped off and treated like they are dirt, Mr Aaron if you read this I would take note that your service sucks, and your stores are worthless.

Monetary Loss: $190.

My wife and I went to Aarons in Lewiston Maine last Sept. to get setup for a livingroom set.

Our furniture went bad from mold in our old apartment. We filled out all the paperwork, references etc.. the set we wanted they said they would have to order in. We told them we were just waiting to move and then we would be in to order the set, that we didn't want to bring new furniture into our mold infested apartment.

Last week we went back to Aarons with the all set, the store manager had a very arrogant, nasty, pissed off tone to his voice and said he remembered us, Said there was nothing he could do for us. I asked him if there was a problem with our references etc.. but he wouldn't give us an answer. He just refused to rent to us.

I contacted all my references they all said they gave me good references. My credit is poor only because I am severely disabled on a disability income and don't qualify for loans or credit cards etc.. do to income. I just said fine!

but you are losing a good customer. My wife and I had planned on replacing all rooms through Aarons as we got each one paid off starting with the livingroom set. After reading about all these problems with Aarons from customers, Thank God!

we didn't. We went back to Rent a Center!!

My wife and I rented a washer/dryer set(which we knew we were paying too much for), then on a seperate contrct, we got a 36 inch tv. The washer was a water saver unit.

It sucked from day one. It doesn't put enough water in the tub to wash the clothes. So we decided to give the washer and dryer back. No problem, Right?

WRONG!!! The manager told us that we would have to give back both the washer and dryer AND the tv. We explained to him that it was a seperate account. He said it was company policy.

So we kept all of it. We complained about the washer often and his responce was "If you don't like it then give it back!". Of course by now, we have paid close to $2000.00 on all of it and only owed like ten more payments. We finally told him he was going to have to fix it because ther would not be enough water in it to even get all the clothes wet.

He tried to say we were behind on our payments. Once we prooved to him we wern't, he got very nasty with us and started cursing us. My husband tried to kick his ***, but he ran like a little girl. We told them to come get this *** out of our house and just counted it as a loss.

We then called the main office and told them what happened. They said we could have given back the waher and dryer and kept the tv, so it was our fault. I explained to him what the manager had said, but they didn'tr believe me. A few days later, one of the girls from Aaron's called and said she felt bad about what happened because the manager rips people off who have paid a lot on an item, then has his family come in and take over the payments that remain, which is usually less than ten.

So he gets a tv or whatever and then sells them himself for big profit. She gave us one of his deals on a t.v. that was picked up with seven payments left on it. So we gotr a 42 inch t.v.

for like $450.00!

He called us wanting it back, my husband told him to come and get it. We've yet to see him :)

I totally agree what gets me is that if you are 2 hours late they call you a hundred times they are rude and i will never buy anything else from them again when i pay off what i have that is it for me an i have like a big company i work for that refuses to go there either so arrons you lost out on alot of people in this small town of danville

I have been a VIP customer for about 10 years ! I jave never had any of these problems !

The store in Forest park Ga, is wonderful and I wouldnt shop any were else . Sure can get it cheeper by paying cash but if ya had the cash handy we wouldnt be having this postings I love the fact that the whole time im paying on it it is under a fix it or replace it warranty ya just cant get that at any other kind of store so just suck it up and deal with it yall are the ones who scewed your credit not anybody else , so quit wineing GOD bless you all

why yall buy from those rip off the people n those stores have no manners half of them steal or give thrie friend discount the prices r 2 high u buy a tv that cost n the store 199.99 get ir at arrons or rent-a-center u pay 899.99 for the same tv i feel these stores take advantage of people who credit is a little bad or can't afford to lay away or buy it straight out.start saving your money and go to a real store and get treated fair.and not get cursed out

I am writing this letter to inform your company of some inappropriate behaviors that I have in countered in Aaronรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs store (4016 Main St. Bridgeport, CT).

I have been a VIP customer for some time. I have always had a great experience with Aaronรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs. I have noticed ever since the switching of the staff, the store has gone from classy to trashy.

As I went to go make a payment in recent days, I have witnessed some inappropriate behaviors between Aaronรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs staff.

I think itรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs inappropriate for a store manager to be talking about his รขโ‚ฌล“***รขโ‚ฌย and what kind of sexual acts he can do with it to another employee of Aaronรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs in front of customers. I am not sure if they were aware of me hearing this conversation as I was waiting to be helped. Angelo is the store manager who I feel is not professional, very disgusting, inappropriate, and disrespectful. I do not know why he would allow this kind of behavior in this store as this was never tolerated when there was another store manager (Tom).

Due to this situation I have decided that once I have finished paying off my account I regret to say that I will no longer be an Aaronรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs customer. Unfortunately I will not be able to praise your company as I have done before.

I have decided to put in my thoughts on some consumer reports against your company and this situation. The company values are not what I thought and I am very disappointed.

well ... hmmm i rented a bedroom set from aarons and had a lovely experience here in phoenix, the managers and other store workers were very professional and i never had any such problems.

i feel bad for all you people that had such wack experiences. and am thankful mine was that of a better nature.

simply i will not purchase anything from arrons eveever ever ever again...i bought a *** c desktop computer which looked nice but it was previously return and used (which i new) but they said it worked fine..the whole 1 yr while paying this *** off it mostly was at arrons, supposedly gettin repaired..i would get it back and i swear no inprovement...the computer was sow and had viruses and bugs from ***...they never fixed it..its a nice computer too...well, i paid it off..then went to bestbuy recently bought a new one and have a great warranty now with geek squad and the p.o.s i bough from arrons is collecting dust not even being used..strongly recomend NOT to reant from this company..this s only my lil problem compared to many others i after renting heard personality first hand of terrible customer service and jacked up tvs electronics etc...

Aarons Furniture Leech to Own is straight up whacked. I don't know if they get these managers straight out of prison or what but they act like they are doing business on the streets.

And I mean that literally. They are find when you first apply but after you receive this beat down merchandise they suddenly become deaf, dumb and ***. Whoever said they were pushed out of the store, I believe them. I went into the store thinking about renting a dining room set I fell in love with on their website.

I saw them (managers) talking loud, threatening a couple of existing customers. I remember thinking how much it looked and sounded like a gang iniation. They did everything except beat these two people up. I hauled *** from the store with the alley-like behavior and bought a living room, dining room set from Ashley where they talk to and treat you like a valued customer.

I'm sure the man who started this company did not envision it being run by a bunch of thugs in a shirt and a tie. If they think this whacked idea of customer care in this economy can keep their company afloat; all I can say is good luck with that one.

I bought a big screen TV from Aaron's that was gently used. They said the customer before me had it for about two months.

After awhile, we started noticing that the thing was cutting off when it wanted to. They said they would call a technician to come and take a look. It took them a whole month to do that. Once the tech came, he didn't know that the *** he was doing.

Two weeks go by and the thing is still not working properly.

It took another three weeks plus an angry call to the hotline to get some help on this issue. They truly do suck in the customer service department.

What you should have done was called the police while you & your sister were at the store AND then went straight to the police station and filed a complaint.

Where anyone who works at Aaron's thinks they have the right to touch you, hit you, etc. I am NOT sure. But they are not exempt from the law!

Next time call the pd! Better yet record video via cell phone if you've got it and show it to the pd!

when i first got the tv it broken not been telling me how to used the tv no smiling we told them we cant pay 1st they still send me letter i owe 15 they confused not me i ask the guys i want my payment to go back on 15th he said no i had to wait for 2 weekd for someone to come out i call the day they was off that not good plus i ask abt the bed 10 years warrenty i need new bed got attude i ask again i pay on 15th period

My boyfriend got a laptop from Aaron's in the Philadelphia,Pa area, and it did not work properly.They kept replacing it,and with another used laptop. Their laptops are used!Than when he visited my in my area to see if they could replace it again.they took his laptop and didn't give it back,demanding something with an address from my area.He finally got thru to customer service, and they said the contract was cancelled. We will never go to Aaron's again!
