Rude manager

I purchased a recliner for my husband for Christmas, and after i got it realized that it was broken, i called the manager, and after telling him that something was wrong with the chair he insinuated that we had broken it after only having it for 2 days. He sent his guys out to service the chair, and they said, it couldn't be fixed that the renter that had it before us, and worn out the one side, because they were heavy, and told us to come pick out another chair. We did that, and the money that i had paid on the first chair was supposed to be taken off the second chair, well i wanted a new sofa, and went in to look at getting a whole set the soa, and loveseat, but would be giving back the chair, because i wouldn't have room for it, after i got the sofa and loveseat. The manager Joe,said' didn't we tell you that we wouldn't be doing this again after the last time with the chair? I said, are you talking about the broke chair you sold me at Christmas, and he said, yes. His attitude really upset me, because i didn't feel that it was wrong to return a broke chair, and if i had room for the second recliner i would keep it, but i dodn't have the room so ,i told him, i could go someplace else to buy the furniture, and he said, yes you can ,and as i was walking out he asked when they could come pick it up i told him anytime, he said in the morning ,i said fine, well that was 3 days ago, and haven't heard from them, i had to call and tell them it was going to be put outside on the carport if they didn't pick it up, cause my new furiture is coming tommorrow, and i don't have room for it. The manager calls back, and says someone will be out in a couple hours to pick it up, guess we will see.

AARONS Sales and Lease

aarons sales and lease brought a 63 inch tv out had it for 10 months and it went out they said there was no warrenty on it and changed it for a 73 inch no credit on the other all the money I paid for the 63 inch was just down the drain that was wrong i should of had credit the sebring florida store has a new manager that is an *** he needs to be fired. he yells at his cutomers and threatens them he says he is going to do things for his cutomers and then does nothing and then blames it on the other workers in the store.

I asked for my total bill to pay off for the next month, and they gave me a total, and when I went to pay it off, the amount they told me, they had added $200.00 to my bill!! They said I was over my 120 day same as cash price.

Why didn't they tell me that on the phone when I asked for my pay off amount?? I would have paid it off sooner and saved $200.00 Now they say there is nothing they can do about it.

So I have no choice but to pay the extra amount, because I already almost had it paid off! I don't think this is right.

Rude phone calls

I am not a customer of this company,but because I was used as a reference.I have received all kind of rude phone calls from them. My close friend just recently had her house broken into,and she went to the police and reported it.She then went to aaron's to inform them of what just happen.We both were fully aware of what her contract stated and we was not trying to get out paying for the t.v.,but more so trying to see if it was some kind of way she could extend and lower her payments until she could some how recover from the break-in.As with anyone who's ever had there home violated in such a matter she needed to find another place to live or pay to have her home detail with more security.Needless to say we were met with all kind of attitude and even the insinuation that she might of had someone herself steal her t.v..Now who in the world would do that? So anyways they began calling me at all hours of the day sending rude threats for her to return their calls,and when I finally spoke to someone well lets just say that if he should ever call my phone again I will be suing this company

Expensive lawnmower

We purchased a brand new riding lawnmower even after renting one from another Aaron's store. Both times the mower cut terribly uneven.

The first store did send me monthly statements and "serviced" the mower twice trying to fix the problem. The second delivered the brand new mower and sent a store manager to our home with a lengthy contract for us to sign. When I contacted the store about my statement or even to inquire about how much my paymt was, I was informed I was 3 days late and had to pay that day "or else". I told them I was making my paymt on Friday, 3 days later, but it wasn't good enough for the man on the phone.

I told them not only did it chop up my yard but I had to air the front tires before using it.

My husband called them and told them to come get it. Now I have a bill for $800 and the fine print on the contract states that by the time I paid the 24 months, I would have paid $3400 plus for this BOBO mower.

i have had several things i purchased at arrons in perry ga. the people there have always been very nice.

i realize my credit is not the best in the world (but working on it) ona fixed income. never had aproblem with them, but have always payed on time are before due date. and every time i am in the shpping center i stop by to see the new items they have, and they tell me any thing i want in store just let them know. have purchased a frig, dryer, laptop.

all have been very good with no problems. so if you dont want problems with arrons pay on time?

Hey to the person who said you don't read contracts. This company is ruthless.

Our tv was stolen and they said" It sounds like an inside job, you still owe for it. " Even with a police report. Only after calling the district manager did they take it off the account. They said I still owed, even if it was stolen.

I told them they had insurance on their item - as I did not own it outright yet and could not get insurance on a rental. Oh well, live and learn I guess.

Aarons Rental Furniture: Returning furniture is a zero; smug customer service

If the Las Cruces, NM Aaron's is any indication, avoid Aaron's at all cost!  They take your money, smile, great customer service until it's time to pick up the furniture. They had one truck and two guys to pick up my furniture between 1 and 8pm; nobody every showed up!  After several phone calls, I called about overpayment.  No one called back.  I called that I had new furniture coming the next day. Could they make sure it got picked up?  Apologies.  No.  Just someone who said I hung up on him and it was not his fault they had only one truck and they were way behind. I made the appointment to have the furniture picked up at least 3 days in advance.  Then I made the appointment for delivery of the new furniture.  Did I fail to mention I also had Colortyme pick up some furniture too?  They said between 4-6pm and they were at my house at 4:30.  Too bad Aaron's is not that timely.  Maybe it's because they cashed my check for another month and figured it was not a rush job. Not a rush job!  I told the guy if someone calls at least six times and tells him how important it is could arrangements not be made?  He said he would call me after he talked to the drivers.  No call back.  The manager was going to call me about the overpayment.  No call back.  It was me calling them asking when were their guys coming.  At 6pm if was they were still coming.  At 7 pm it was they were way behind.  And at 8pm it was no way; you'll have to wait until tomorrow.  That does not include all the phone calls I made before 6pm because I knew I was going to have problems with this outfit. What a fiasco.  I told the guy I was calling corporate office and he smugly said "fine".  His guys were up and running the next day at 10am and my delivery is at 9am.  I guess it's my problem.  I'm talking to corporate from now on to smooth this mess over.  It used to be if you could not get anywhere with a business you would talk to the manager.  It this case, I have to talk to corporate.  Sorry state of affairs.  Customer Service is a 10 when your buying and a zero when your returning.

Warranty what warranty

i leased a sofa from aarons of iowa city iowa paid it off feb 14. the thing is junk.springs brook and coming apart at seems.shawn of iowa city aarons has giving every accuse known to man to night i got told our repair man won't call use back besides its not our responsibility here is his number what a warranty the *** also said don't sit on it it could make it worse I'm about ready to throw it trough their window wondering how they sleep at night the *** has no problem showing up at your job if your an hour late for a payment pay it off and dumb *** forgets you where ever a costumer

yes i want to put a complaint on the Aarons rent co in Fort Payne Ala they have a very sorry excuse of a manager in that store he don>t care about the costomers at all he is the lowest person as manager i have seen yet they better fire him if they want to keep that store I will tell everyone i know to stay away from that store he don,t care about us as customer he just wants to get paid for running over people please fire him and get someone else who cares about us as people that pay his salary

A collecter called me 6 times after I explained that I would pay nx.wk.

I explained to your collector that I could not come in to pay untill nx. wk.He continued to call me while I was working, said he was sending the truck. I told him to send it. Be assured I will never shop at Aarons again. I don't mine being called but this is unnecessary harassment. Terrible managers

i recently rented a 60 in tv from aarons. approx 8 months into the rental aggrement the tv started messing up. i contacted them and told them i wanted a different tv. apperently thats too much to ask. they brought me a "loaner" tv basicaly another piece of *** and told me they would send my tv in for repair. its been 4 weeks and my tv is still sitting in there back room. i told them i wanted to get a different tv and they told me i would loose the almost 1000.00 i had already paid. i told them that was unacceptable since it wasn't my fault the tv messed up. we came to an aggrement and i ordered a different tv. 4 weeks later i still havent received the tv and was even called *** by the manager. *** poor service *** poor managers i will never recomend them to anyone i like

i rented a tv a year and a half and im almost done with my lease. the tv is broken and i dont have warranty.

i only have 400 left to pay which will be in three months. what do i do? it has lines and and different colors.

it is my fault, can i have them fix for a fee? does anyone know?

I have dealt with the New Iberia store for 9 years. A year or so back they put Heather Lowe as a manager.

After making numerous complaints regarding much of the merchandise I had from them nothing was ever done. Kody would call and harass my husband and I for payments that they had already received.

Zeb also got ugly with me on the phone yesterday. They do not any skills regarding customer service.

Rude customer service, unprofessional, illegal move

I once rented from Aarons never do it again. I called to find out why my property that I rented was not delivered. The first person to answer the phone was truely unprofessional attutide and street talk was all I got. When it finally did get delivered it was dented and scratched from the delivery guys who by the way not one spoke English. Very difficult to find out how to work or use your product. I do not have anything against people that dont know the English language but considering I do not know Spanish it was hard to communicate with the workers. Then a year in to my lease agreement my son was admitted into the hospital they called my phone four to five times a day. They called my family members who explained where I was and that when I was available they would talk to me and let me know that did not stop the calls. Then a week later they took it upon them selves to use my card number and with drawn the money without permission. I called then and asked how they used the card number without permission and Johnnie said if you paid on time we would not have taken it. I asked to get the main company number and he refused to give it to me gave the the managers name Dave to call back and speak to which he was never available to talk to. Never got anywhere! Never again will I rent!!!

I recently purchased a used laptop at Aarons and I did the whole application. The only thing is I just moved to the new location and I don't know anyone so I had put family references.

They also asked about my landlord but I didn't have his information on me.

I gave them my first payment and I signed the paperwork and I have paperwork I took as well. Will they still deliver it to me?

Disrespected my wife and called me a lier

my wife and i went to aarons rental to rent a sofa and love seat, we payed for the set and was told it would be saturday this was thursday no problem. then my wife said i really would like to have theother one i said call and talk to luke the manager.she did and he said oh i already had the one you rented rented the assistent manager didn,t know she said can we get the other one at the same price? he siad look im doing you a favor anyway you return everything youve rented anyway (she,s had a lot of medical problems ) well stuff happens and your makeing money off us anyway. so i called him and siad why were you rude to my wife, he siad my assistant siad she was rude to her so that makes it right for a proffesional to be rude to the customer (she was,nt rude i was there) is what i told him he siad i take her word over yours i siad are you calling me a lier he siad take it how ever you want to .the aarons is the one in mansura ,the managers name is luke and this is highly un acceptable from a proffesional. granted arons probably will do like there manager and assistant manager and be rude and blow it off i just think consumers ought to know what kind of people aarons rentals in mansua louisiana have working for them totally disrespectfull.

Rippedme off with fees

I went to arons rental and got a laptop they were very friendly i was asked what due date i wanted the first or sixteenth..I choose the sixteen it was a weekday and they were closing so they were rushing me and i never even got acopy of my contract then i get a statement and the dates different so i call and they said if i wanted to give them two weeks rent they could change the due date to the sixteenth needless to say i was not pleased.Now they call me at home at work wanting the payment on the first after repeated being told No,I did on line payments according to the bank they have been paid they keepcalling and saying they have not and they still have not given me acopy of the contract.

Perhaps you should have read what you signed. Aaron's does not have "two week" payments.

They have semi-monthly, with fixed due dates of the first and the fifteenth, or monthly due on the first or Fifteenth. Their agreements clearly state that they have no grace period.

But no laws also state the customer is to be given a contract, if they do not then you still have time to sue them. No laws is 5 yes from date of pay off. Plus, they will need to prove you received a contract from them.

Furniture not delivered on schedule and items were forgotten

furniture was delivered 3 days late and items were forgotten and i was told they would not be able to deliver them when i was available. so now that's going to take another month maybe. my living room end tables look ridiculous without the glass on them. this is not a good experience with this company. juan and james said that my furniture would be delivered thursday i didn't get it til saturday evening about 700pm. now i'm getting the run around as to when they're going to have someone availabe to deliver the remaining forgotten items.

Neglect of customer service

Dear Sir: My daughter Melissa McIntyre has a account with you on a television. She has had it about a year or more. I called the store in Albemarle and told them when she would be in to pay it, twice, they still came out here causing my dog to go crazy in which he tore up my blinds over the door. This would not have happened if they would get their act together. So now I have to pay about $30.00 for new blinds for which I don't have. This should not have happened Period.! Jennifer Hughlet
